Choir. We are all hoping that, before too long, the Choir will be permitted to sing in larger numbers.  New members to the Adult Choir will be welcome; it is necessary to be able to read music.  It would be good to have two or three more tenors and sopranos.  Please let John know if you are interested and ask for more information.

Psalms, Psinging and Psandwiches! St John’s will be hosting a workshop day on the singing of psalms on 2 October. This will be a really interesting day studying psalms and the variety of ways they can be sung. We hope members of the congregation may like to come to this event and it would also be helpful to have some volunteers to help with welcoming participants, serving refreshments, etc. Please contact John Webber or Sue O’Neill if you would like to know more.

Are you interested in becoming a school governor? St John’s and St Clement’s Primary School are looking for a new foundation governor to join the team. Please speak to Revd. Gill if you would like to find out more about this important role.

Vacancy for a Parish Administrator. We will be saying goodbye to our Administrator in the Autumn and are seeking a new Administrator to work alongside Revd Gill and the rest of the staff team to ensure the smooth running of St John’s Church and the Goose Green Centre. We are looking for a friendly, courteous and well organised person who can get along well with a variety of people. Please contact Revd Gill O’Neill for an informal chat about the role, contact details overleaf, or for information and an application pack, please email
