Thank you from Raymond. Last Sunday was a bittersweet day: celebrating Easter and at the same time knowing that it would be my last day at St John’s East Dulwich. Thank you to everyone at St John’s, you made my time there so enriching and it has been a privilege to serve you. Thank you as well to everyone who contributed so generously to my leaving present. I have already ordered a desk so that I can work from home in style! I will remember my time at St John’s fondly and I will keep you in my prayers. With love and best wishes, Raymond.
Daily Wheat. We already have some shoots from the wheat planted in the churchyard! If you are also growing wheat, please let us know how it’s getting on. You can send photos to Sue O’Neill sue.oneill@virgin.net to be included in the next issue of The Gander.
Robes Project. Thank you to the volunteers who donated “weekly Support packages” to guests. The project is continuing to support eleven guests in hotel accommodation. Each week a church supports guests by providing additional items such as snacks, items to make hot drinks, and fruit. A second round of donations from St John’s were delivered to guests on Friday 9 April.
