Thy Kingdom Come, 26 May – 4 June

Thursday 25 May

8pm: Sung Mass

Saturday 27 May

8am: Parish Prayer Walk.

Meet outside the main church entrance at 8am. The walk will last about 45-60 minutes. We will walk alongside Peckham Rye,  into East Dulwich, down Lordship Lane and back to church for coffee and croissants.

Prayer walking is not about being seen praying but about walking around the neighbourhood and seeing and listening. The core of prayer walking is conversing with God; ask Him to show you what He sees; to know His heart for your community.

There will be an opportunity after the walk to record what you have noticed and the things you sense that need prayer. We can use these in our prayers at St John’s and to help us shape our future mission.

Monday 29 May – Friday 2 June (daily)

6.30pm: Evening prayer followed by open church for visiting prayer stations

There is a version of common worship for evening prayer that has been produced by Southwark Diocese for this purpose. This will be used for the service.

Following the service the church will be open and prayer stations can be used.

Saturday 3 June
