Annual Meeting of Parishioners and Annual Parochial Church Meeting
Sunday 15th November 2020 at 3.00pm via Zoom
This year’s Annual Meetings will take place on Sunday 15th November 2020 at 3.00pm. They were postponed from Sunday 29 March by the Covid-19 pandemic. Following advice from Southwark Diocese, and in the light of recent events, they will be held electronically via Zoom; you can also join the meetings by phone.
There will be two meetings. The Annual Parish Meeting, to elect the Churchwardens will be followed by the Annual Parochial Church Meeting to conduct other parish business and elections. Everyone is welcome to attend both meetings, but only those on the church Electoral Roll are entitled to vote. However, the Annual Parish Meeting is a public meeting so all residents in the parish who are also on the register of local government electors are also entitled to vote at this meeting.
The Electoral Roll has recently been revised and the opportunity to have your name added is now over until after the Annual Meeting. If you wish to check if you are on the updated Roll, it is available at the back of the church. Alternatively you can contact the PCC Secretary or Electoral Roll Officer, or phone the Parish Office (020 8693 3897).
How to join the meeting
The meeting starts at 3.00pm and you will be able to join the Zoom call from 2.45pm. We recommend joining a little early in order to check you can see and hear properly.

If you require a hard copy of these documents please get in touch with the Parish Office (see below) and they will be sent out by post at no charge to you. Please allow sufficient time for your request to be processed and delivered to you.
We will be holding elections for the churchwardens, and for four members of the PCC who serve a three year term. This year we will also be holding elections for Deanery Synod representatives, also to serve for a three-year term. Deanery Synod representatives sit on the PCC in addition to attending Deanery Synod meetings. Anyone who is interested in standing for election for any of these positions should speak to the Vicar, Revd Gill, (07958 592 425) as soon as possible

Please note that to be a member of the PCC you will need to have been on the Electoral Roll for at least the last six months and your proposer and seconder must also be on the Electoral Roll.
Those nominated for election must indicate their consent to serve, but due to the unusual circumstances this year handwritten signatures will not be required. Scanned signatures and forms will be accepted.
Completed nomination forms should be emailed to Christine Camplin, PCC Secretary, before the meeting. They can also be posted to the Parish Office, but please allow enough time for delivery.
